Dennis Michael as the guest speaker.\n\n\n\n\n\nPrior to being elected Mayor\, Dennis Michael was first elected to City Council in 2004 and then again in 2008.  He was elected as Mayor for the City of Rancho Cucamonga in 2010 and again in 2014.  Prior to elected office\, Dennis led the Rancho Cucamonga Fire Protection District as Fire Chief for 19 years. He is actively involved in a number of regional and state boards and committees\; and is a recognized leader on a national level.  Mayor Michael also represents the City of Rancho Cucamonga on the San Bernardino County Associated Government's (SANBAG) Board of Directors where he serves as the Board's past President\, as well as being a member of SANBAG's General Policy\, Metro Valley and Commuter Rail/Transit Committees. Dennis also serves on the Inland Empire Economic Partnership Board of Directors and the state's City\, County School Partnership.  Mayor Michael serves on the League of California Cities Statewide Board of Directors\, currently serving as President. He is a past President of the League's Inland Empire Division and in 2013\; he was the recipient of their prestigious Thalman Award in recognition of his dedication to advancing the principles of local government.
